MOH plays custom messages about your business to callers when they are placed on hold. (Employment opportunities, side items, manager's specials, etc.) Auto-attendants play your promotional message to every caller before your phones ring in the store.
MOH keeps callers holding up to 130% longer than silence. Customer service staff need not ask if callers wish to hear the specials. Customers are given the specials before the staff answers their call
MOH gives you an opportunity to up-sell, cross-sell and suggestive-sell during the time when callers are placed "on-hold". Once the promotional message is played, the phones ring in the store. While the customer is waiting for the phone to be answered, more promotional messages (employment opportunities, side items, manager's specials, etc.) are played as the phones are ringing.
MOH is an economical alternative to having silence or the radio playing on hold. Once the phone is answered, if the caller needs to be put on hold, they will hear the "on-hold" segment of the promotional messages (This part of the service acts just the same as the traditional MOH service does).
